Association of Rivers Trusts Award.

Congratulations to the winners of the drainmarkers.co.uk sponsored, Association of Rivers Trusts Awards.

As part of our on-going support for those working to prevent water pollution, we have sponsored the Association of Rivers Trust award for Volunteer and Community Engagement.

We are proud to report that awards were given to 2 individuals who work with their local community to protect and improve their rivers;

• Barbara Wardle who works tirelessly as a volunteer leader of the River Watch group for Haydon Bridge (Tyne Rivers Trust)
• Sam St Pierre who was recognised for his voluntary efforts over 10 years, undertaking countless river improvement projects and trust development on the Sussex Ouse.
